GRS has experience in power distribution systems, both low voltage and medium voltage, including power system planning, motor controls, overhead lines, industrial, commercial and residential power distribution.
GRS has successfully designed and managed numerous new motor control centres (MCCs) and switchboard projects, both greenfield and upgrades of existing facilities.
MCCs require a range of issues to be considered including substation design, protection coordination, load forecasting and modelling, power factor correction, metering, cable sizing, layout and elevation drawings, building services, fire protection, air conditioning, and PLC control.
In these projects we experience in handling management and construction issues such as critical programming, safety in construction, risk and practicality of installation.
